More than 120 million people are displaced, and the shelter meant to be temporary rarely is. In the Giardino delle Vergini the two frames stood side by side for 198 days: the one that arrives, and the one it becomes.
Outcome
The Biennale closed as its most visited ever: 315,584 in all, half of which were international. The project was featured in nine Swedish papers as well as Vanity Fair Italia and Arkitekten.
